Campground Rules

Welcome to Golden Horde Farm & Camping

We’re thrilled you’ve chosen to stay with us and immerse yourself in the beauty of nature with the added comfort of our glamping experience. To make sure all guests enjoy their stay and to protect our unique environment, we ask that you follow these ground rules during your visit:

Respect Nature
  • Windows, skylights and Doors: Keep doors and windows closed when not in use to prevent small animals and insects from entering.
  • Outdoor Gear: Store wet or muddy outdoor gear in the designated storage area or at the entrance to avoid bringing nature’s less desirable elements inside.
  • Leave No Trace: Please keep the environment as you found it. Dispose of waste properly by using the bins provided and recycling where possible.
  • Wildlife: Enjoy observing wildlife from a distance. Do not feed or attempt to touch wild animals.
  • Plant Life: Preserve the natural state of the area. Do not pick flowers or damage plants.
Stay Safe
  • Heating Devices: Follow instructions for any heating devices provided. Never leave heaters unattended and ensure they are off before you go to sleep or leave the yurt.
  • No Smoking: Smoking inside the yurt is strictly prohibited to avoid fire hazards and maintain air quality. Use designated outdoor smoking areas.
  • Emergency Procedures: Familiarize yourself with the location of the fire extinguisher, first-aid kit, and emergency exits upon arrival.
  • Campfires: Campfires are allowed only in designated areas and must be fully extinguished before you leave them unattended. During dry periods, fire bans may be in effect.
  • Noise: Please respect the tranquility of the surroundings. Keep noise to a minimum, especially between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
  • No smoking inside the Yurts.
Respect Fellow Glampers
  • Privacy: Maintain a respectful distance from other tents/yurts. Do not walk through occupied sites.
  • Pets: Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash at all times. Please clean up after your pets.  Also we have farm animals and livestock dogs with wireless collars on free range inside the camp to protect the other livestock and do not want them to get into a fight with your dog.
  • Shared Spaces: Keep communal areas, like shared bathrooms and showers, laundry facilities, clean and tidy after use.
Preserve the Site
  • Facilities: Use facilities and amenities with care. Report any damages or issues to the site management promptly.
  • Vehicles: Drive slowly within the campsite and park only in designated areas to protect the landscape and ensure the safety of all guests.
  • Smoking: Smoking is prohibited inside the tents/yurts and in all shared indoor spaces. Please use designated outdoor smoking areas and dispose of cigarette butts responsibly.
Keep It Clean
  • No Shoes Inside the Yurts: Please remove your shoes before entering the yurt to keep the interior clean and comfortable. Consider bringing indoor slippers or socks for extra coziness.
  • Eating Areas: We encourage eating at designated dining areas. This helps prevent spills and crumbs in the sleeping and lounge areas, keeping pests away and the space tidy.
  • Waste Management: Use the bins provided for trash and recycling. If you have compostable waste, please dispose of it in the marked compost bins.
Be Mindful
  • Furniture and Decor: Treat the furniture and décor with care. We’ve selected each piece to create a welcoming and functional space for you.
  • Close any windows, doors and skylights when you leave so in case it rains we don’t get water damage.
  • Quiet Hours: Respect the quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Keep volume levels low to ensure a peaceful environment for all guests.
  • Lighting: Use lighting responsibly. Turn off lights and electrical appliances when they are not needed or when you leave the yurt.
Upon Departure
  • Tidy Up: We appreciate your help in leaving the yurt tidy. This includes placing all used linens and towels in the designated area and returning any moved furniture to its original place.  Take out all your garbage inside the garbage bags provided and separate recycles and place them inside the dumpster and close the lid to prevent rodent infestation.
  • Report Damages: Accidents happen! Please let us know if something breaks or malfunctions so we can fix it for the next guests.

By following these guidelines, you help us ensure that each guest enjoys a clean, safe, and harmonious environment during their stay. Thank you for your cooperation and for choosing to stay with us. We hope your time in the yurt brings you closer to nature and provides a memorable and comfortable experience.
